Long Live Cholesterol!

I wanted a baked ziti from Sbarro. I have one order of that, white sauce, extra cheese every week, when Viki and I troop to the mall to pig out. This week I was feeling pretty deprived of my carbo load, so I texted Viki. And then he said, "I'm so sick of SM North, let's go to Eastwood for a change."
Now I have never thoroughly explored Eastwood, but I was positive that there is no Sbarro in Eastwood. But he insisted that there WAS one inside the mall (There was a mall in eastwood?) so i ended up in a taxi with him to the Godforsaken place. I bet him a slap on the forehead that there wasn't one. I owe him a slap.
Eastwood. Now there's a place for you. People go there to work in call centers, or to party, or to eat overpriced food. Or to look pretty. It's a completely different place there, from the rest of the country. One would think we were no longer in a third world country. But it feels strangely empty. I felt like a tourist there.
So Viki asked the guard where the sbarro was and received a blank stare in return. i kicked him.
We ended up at Fazoli's. Ick. Double the price of sbarro and the food was all salty. Next time i go with my gut and stay with the Mall. Sigh.
