What is it about boys and their need to be violent? Today I found out that my baby brother beat the crap out of some idiot on the honor Roll. The story has two versions.
A. The Disciplinary Office's Version
Rob is dating this girl, who then SLEEPS with this 3rd Year boy. (Rob is in 4th) Rob enlists the aid of his friends. He then allegedly calls the guy to talk, and then takes him to an empty classroom. Two of his friends stand as lookouts and he then beats the crap out of the boy, givin him a broken nose and a rearranged face. My brother breaks his hand and has to go to the hospital. The next day the all the male family members of the boy's family go mto school to find my brother and return the favor, but since my brother is in the hospital, they go home.
B. Rob's Version
The guy sleeps with my brother's girlfriend and then taunts him about it, challenging him to a fight. My brother ignores him three times but finally gets pissed and says yes the fourth time. The guy gets the crap beaten out of him and goes whining home to his parents.
Either way, my brother dumped that silly girl, but he is facing possible expulsion from sacred heart. I have a warning of m own to deliver: To the family of the idiot, if you lay a hand on my brother, you will have to answer to me. I don't care if you're all guys, I will hunt you down and make you wish you never heard of your idiot brother's name.

Talion law still seems to apply in inter-family disputes in your part of the world, and to a level of escalation that may be too difficult or too late to retreat from. Shakespeare showed how in Verona a tale of woe from twisted fate and blood-feud betode two families. Now for you it is the quick and the dead? For us no imagined plot. Circle the wagons for a while. May it all be water under the bridge soon enough.
