SIIIIIIIIIICK

i have tonsilitis and the flu. boo-hoo-hoo.
Getting drunk on water and paracetamol
and i am getting more bloated, this is true,
and the books in our room, i've read them all.
My lymph nodes are swollen, little hard lumps
And my skin is all splotchy, with tiny bumps
and i just keep eating, what's wrong with me?
i've got an excuse to skip class and just sleep
i've counted the dust motes that dance in the air
and brushed all the tangles out of my hair
and tried to go to sleep with bright noon sun
and cursed at the everything and everyone.
hope i'm better tomorrow. ugh.
